This series was created for the purpose of showing my critics I give praise to other football teams. I refused from the beginning to not have the Steelers part of this series because of being criticized for being a homer. I'll stick with that through out. Time to give praise and critic other football teams besides my favorite.
1.Al Davis/Raiders-I was never a big fan of the Raiders. Not a big fan of any players on their football teams(exception McFadden). I was proud of the Raiders for pulling out that huge win for Al. I do wish the team well going forward. I want the Raiders to win the division this year for Al Davis. The story would just be tremendous. My bias towards rooting for Tebow to do well will not hurt the Raiders. Still proud to say the Raiders are undefeated in division play since Campbell came in. Prove them wrong!! RIP Al Davis
2.TEBOW TIME!!-I told you all Kyle Orton was over-rated. People bash Tebow for his accuracy when Orton is still one of the worst in the league. He lost his job and Tebow almost made Rivers have a heart attack. Tebow came in and led that football team. The sounds in that stadium was tremendous. An atmosphere, he created by the confidence he brought in with him. It would have been awesome to see that comeback win, but it didn't happen unfortunately!! Happy for Tebow and hope he proves the doubters wrong.
3.Vikings/All Day-Got their first win of the season and kept the lead!! Cards keep proving me right.
4.Saints/Brees/Panthers-It seems I have the Panthers on here every week. I am stunned by the way they have kept competitive in ball games. Deserve a lot of credit for getting the lead vs the Saints. I have been very hard on Brees and the Saints. Way more hate than they deserve. Saint fans and Brees, I apoligize. He truly is an elite quarterback in this league and I wish Brees and the Saints well going forward. I felt it needed to be said and I have felt this way since the game where I rooted for Brees and the Saints to win. I've been way too harsh towards the organization and the Saints. I said NFC Champs before the season began. Hope you prove me right! Again, I apoligize!
5.Packers/Lions-Undefeated through 5 weeks. I know both were expected to play well, but they deserve a ton of credit for their teams performance thus far. Calvin Johnson is currently my pick to win the MVP award with Rodgers a close 2nd. Both have played fantastic. Praise is well deserved!!
*Bonus: Seahawks-I think this was deserved after their performance vs the Giants. Know they won't be on here that often if they live up to my expectations. Congrats on the upset and huge victory.
1.Bucs-What happened? 3-48 loss to the 49ers. I had Bucs as the last team eliminated to miss the playoffs. Maybe it was the schedule. It seems like when they don't run the football effectively, the team struggles. I think Freeman needs better weapons. Picking the Saints to win the AFC South looks good right now! Again....thank you Falcons for keep proving me right!!
2.Jags-What is up with that? You have the lead and lose it? C'mon man!! Now Bengals look like they may start 5-2!! I bet Carson Palmer is happy!!
3.Colts lose lead-24-7 was when I said, Colts are gonna get their first victory. 28-24 was the final score....What happened? Chiefs ground game is non-existant. All they have is a passing game right now. I can't believe it! Colts will not have the worst record in the league o!!
4.Matt Schaub-With Texans being good they are getting more exposure nationally. That isn't good for Schaub because he is nothing, but a product of AJ and Arian Foster. He isn't an elite quarterback. He is worse than Romo and Rivers!!
5.Vick-Last season, I was rooting for Vick to be successful. He was, but this year.....he isn't looking too good. Dream Team comment probably killed this football team. I knew they would struggle early due to new coaches, but.....they have got to play better in all phases. It feels like in Philly they have too many personalities to deal with. VY obviously, Jackson wanting his pay check, and player playing with far more confidence. I don't know what it is, but they can't stop the run with those linebackers. That with the interception and turnovers. I had Eagles get the final wildcard spot with Lions/Packers getting #5.It looks if the playoff door is closing on the Eagles quickly. They gotta step it up!!

What a controversial way to start a weekly series, huh? It bugs the crap out of me to see all praise given to one guy and receive no criticism. Media has blinded people to believe what they want you to believe. Some people are brain washed into believing crazy things such as Rivers being an elite quarterback, Bill Belichick being a genius, and so on. It is time to look at both sides of the equation. Look at it objectively rather than be biased about it. I have my sources for the info I use in my posts.
All you hear is Peyton is the most valuable player in football today. Even calling the guy head coach/offensive coordinator in previous years. The media along with several fans believe Peyton is the Indianapolis Colts. They do and die by Peyton Manning. I still believe Peyton is a top 5 quarterback, but not top 3 even if he was playing. That is just my opinion anyways. Is Peyton Manning really the Colts football team?
I'm gonna ask you some various questions in which some of you biased fans may be able to answer. Over the years, Peyton's playoff success is criticized, but when it is....it is blamed on others rather than himself. Why is that? If he is the team and no one else contributes to the success of the team.....why are they blamed? You see fans post threads like "How many SBs would Peyton have if he had....." and "Peyton Manning is 2011 MVP". I have a problem with that. I think it is quite disrespectful to all the football players in the league who give it their all every Sunday. Yea, he is important to his football team, but same goes for other players around the league as well. What has he contributed to be called an MVP in 2011 anyways? What has he contributed to the Colts? I don't see him with a headset on, going through a playbook to help Painter or Collins, he definately isn't performing either. Why does he deserve the MVP award over guys who are much more deserving? Guys like Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson are on the top of my list currently. We see him up their with the offensive coordinator on the final drive watching instead of going through plays.
Back to the subject of Peyton's playoff failures. He has no defense, running game, offensive line(his quick release is the reason the o-line looks good), and he makes receivers. I think we all remember the 3 game stretch where Peyton threw like 11 interceptions in a game last season. I stated he almost choked away the AFC South division crown. I received a response: You are an idiot to think Peyton almost choked away the division last year. Look at what he had to work with all those players on IR. If Peyton is the Colts, why does it matter who is injured? Offensive line is a good example. If his quick release blinds me thinking he has a good offensive line than injuries shouldn't effect that area. His release is quick enough to get the ball outta there. If he has no running game, why does injuries matter there? Same goes for defense. We talk about playoff failures with Colt fans and they blame it on the defense, running game, ect. Why is the blame not on the guy who receives the most praise? Can it not be Peyton's fault? I have sources(Colt fans) who tell me these ridiculous things. If Peyton is all the Colts have, why expect better performance elsewhere? If Peyton does it all when they win.....he must do the same when they lose. Am I wrong? Look at how that sounds so ridiculous. The amount of praise the guy receives in comparison to the criticism he receives.
Are you blind by the media, #s, or his past success? Do you refuse to be objective? I'm not here to talk about the best quarterbacks in the league, talk about the Steelers, and certainly not hear to talk about Ben. I want to stay on topic and talk about this particular subject.

The on going series continues for all the critics out there.
1.Curtis Painter-I along with 90% of NFL fans didn't give this guy a chance. We wanted a proven vet in there to take over for Peyton. Now it looks as if he is proving us all wrong with his play. Almost pulled out a victory Monday Night vs the Bucs.
2.Ravens defense-I hate to say it, but after the past 4 weeks.....they have proven they have the best defense in the league "right now"!
3.Panthers/Newton-They are actually staying competitive in football games which is surprising to me and the rest of the nation. People had a label on them as being the worst team in the league again via record. Keep playing like this.....I don't think so!! Newton critics are silence!
4.Lions 4-0??-I believe it was 27 point comeback victory. Correct me if I'm wrong. Romo proves time and time again he has the clutch gene.
5.Tarvaris Jackson>Matty Ice-last week T-Jax outperformed Tom Brady v2. He threw for over 300 yards and almost led the Seahawks to a comeback victory vs the most over-rated team in football.....The Super Bowl bound Atlanta Falcons!!
Bonus:The question I'm asking myself now is my fantasy football team facing Aaron Rodgers? I hope not because I figure this guy has a monster game vs the Falcons. Worst case scenario: 400 yards passing!
1.Lowest comp % in Jets qb history!!-31% was the number Sunday that put Mark Sanchez in Jets history. Rex Ryan according to reports was furious and stated they are going back to the ground and pound football. Back to their identity!! NYJ @ NE Sunday....."can't wait!!"
2.McNabb/Vikings-I don't know what it is. Is it just I didn't want to believe Shanahan was right? McNabb couldn't handle the conditioning to play late? I remember him getting pulled in the 4th last season with the Skins needing a score to tie the game. McNabb has been terrible. Play calling has been questionable as well. They have built 3 possession leads, but they continue to choke it away in the 2nd half by not running the football. The best running back in the league attempted 5 rush attempts in the 2nd half. APs father been talking about it as well. LOL! I had the Vikings at best 5 victories which was being generous at the time. Right now....I think 3 is!
3.Rams-This was there year to shine and take the division. Bradford has been not playing like the next "Peyton Manning" like we all thought he would. I knew personally they would struggle early due to tough schedule early. I believe they can bounce back and finish at least 2nd in the division.
4.Bills/Raider hype machine-yep.....I was blind by it. I had high expectations for both teams. Both wanting them to come out with a victory. The bigger letdown was Bills lost a game after leading 17-3.
5.Eagles lose 3 straight-It isn't surprising if you some wasn't blind by the hype machine. Anyone with common sense knew they were gonna struggle early. It isn't due to tough schedule.....it is due to new coaches/players trying to get a feel for the system they are running. Schedule only gets tougher......who knows if Eagles will make the playoffs. I had them as #6 on the wildcard knowing they would struggle. Leading by 21 and lose it to an NFC West team. 49ers keep proving me right.
Bonus: Rivers has a turnover in every game he has played in this season. If not for the defense bailing him out.....Chargers would be 1-3 at best!! Surprised??Don't be..........STAY JEALOUS!!

I voiced during the time of the preseason before Peyton had his last neck surgery that the Steelers would win no matter the quarterback. No matter if it was a rusty Manning(at the time didn't play a preseason game), Painter(inexperience), or Collins(doesn't know the playbook). The Steelers without a doubt will beat the Indianapolis Colts. For all of you who has Mendenhall, I suggest starting him on your fantasy football team. One of the worst rush defenses in the league vs a top 10 rusher last season. Go ahead and mark a loss on your schedule Indy for week 3. The game will be on NBC. It will probably be the least watched/lopsided victory of the season on NBC.

Several of my critics claim I don't give credit to other football teams in which I do. I felt it was time for much deserved praises along with criticisms for certain players/teams. I welcome opinions of this post and on week 2. Who deserves praise and criticism after week 2?

This is an update kind of due to recent moves lately.
AFC East:Patriots-Getting Chad and Ellis to me improves their football team. They are better than the Jets.
AFC North:Steelers-They keep proving the doubters wrong and they'll do it again in 2011.
AFC South:Colts-I know I stated on some occassions that they will miss the playoffs. The prediction was made simply because 5 new teams had to get in. At the time, I thought Jets were the better team. Now I feel they have the best chance to get in 2011.
AFC West:Chargers-Raiders got worse, Broncos still suck, and Chargers are gonna be one of them new 5 football teams to make the playoffs in 2011.
AFC Wildcard #5:Ravens-Got respect for the Ravens. No doubt they will be in the playoffs in 2011.
AFC Wildcard #6:Texans-everyones darkhorse, but I didn't pick them last year. I liked the moves they made this offseason and I believe they can finally get to the postseason. Possibly a division title.
NFC East:Eagles-I suspect slow start, but I feel they will finish strong and make the playoffs.
NFC North:Packers-1st division crown since Rodgers has taken over.
NFC South:Saints-I think I have over-rated this football team a bit after their draft. They may win the division. I like the Bucs too.
NFC West:Rams-Gotta love Bradford. Kinda shocked by the lack of moves in FA for weak wr position. I think they can still get the job done o. 49ers will surprise some folks. Watch out!!
NFC Wildcard #5:Cowboys-I say 10 or 11 wins with a playoff berth. Cowboys>Giants
NFC Wildcard #6:Bucs-I wouldn't be shocked if this team wins the division this year. They are under the radar. 10-13 wins possibly.

Upsets happen in the NFL all the time. Weekly and some times more than one in a week. I decided since the season is about to begin, it is time to start calling some upsets. I'll call 1 for each week:

This is a start of my version of predictions. Give out 4 rather surprising predictions. Some may be shocked, others will critic, and the rest will be entertained. Here is 4 predictions that everyone are gonna be witnessing this coming year in football.
